Bio

LAURENT CHANEZ Laurent grew up in Eastern France and studied graphic design, illustration, and photography at Paris ESAG Penninghen School. He then moved to Los Angeles and started directing commercials and music videos. Within a few years, he became a prolific and internationally acclaimed director, working for both the European and American markets.  
 
Laurent has won several awards for his Tommy Hilfiger Fragrances and Kenzo commercials and his work for the Benetton “Unhate” campaign was featured at 2012 TED Conference. Utilizing a multi-faceted approach, Laurent defies categorization and taps his experience on the imagery and aesthetic for clients as diverse as Nike, Mastercard, Gucci, Nintendo, L’Oreal, Benetton, Hyundai, Orange, Volkswagen and Lexus.  
 
Laurent divides his time between Paris and New York and continues to develop his evocative visual style through commercial and other film mediums such as documentaries, music videos and art projects.
